It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I still haven't managed to submit my photos from London and Dublin. I've just been so busy with uni at the moment and getting myself ready to go into the "real world" come July. But I have plenty more to upload, fear not I will do it when I fail to find a job and become a hobo.

Today I had way to much time on my hands, got rather bored and started to jump around alot. I then prompted to make a video of my ordeal, but just so happens that deviantart doesn't deal in videos unless you are "special" and I mean that in the privileged way, not the special way. So guess what, if you want to see it (which I think you do, because it's chuffing good I say) you will have to toddle off to either my blog here [link] , or youtube itself which as it happens is here [link]
